Tennis Tournament's

Now that our annual tournaments are complete we thought this would be a good time to update everyone on the success of the tournaments.

Firstly the A3 tournament what an effort to get that played on the day, at 11AM the courts were under water but fair play to Mark and his team they believed the weather would clear and clear it did and as usual the tournament was a fantastic success with the particular highlight of the first all ladies pair to make to to the open final so well done Jaz and Jae what an effort that was and well done to Daesan Kim and his partner for winning.
I Would like to say a massive thank you and well done to everyone involved in the running of the tournament, great effort by everyone.

Club tournament: firstly thank you to everyone that took part in the tournament, It was a really high quality field with lots of great matches along the way.

Men's Singles - Dave Asghar beats Leon Bent

Men's Doubles - Dave & Ben Asghar beat David Shin & Wanpyung Su

Ladies Doubles - Holly Arnot & Jaz Warner beat Jae Jeong & Sol Jung

Vets Singles - Julian Harcourt beat Dave strange

Vets Doubles - Julian Mclean & Alex Riha beat Dave Strange & Saleem Al-Khudairi

Mixed Doubles final will be played on Sunday 31st August at 11am so please come down and support the finalists.

a big thank you to everyone involved in the running of the tournament and those who helped out on finals day without you all the tournament wouldn't be able to run.

As promised from the last tennis AGM here is a link to a survey for you thoughts on when finals day should be held next year, once all the results are in the tennis committee will consider which date to go for next year.
