Dear Member,
The latest news regarding the England/Mexico world cup football match is that it remains scheduled for 1:00am on Monday morning, 6th July.
Below is a copy of the newsletter sent last Thursday 2nd July .
Watch The England Match v Mexico on Monday at The Club
The New Malden Sports Club is planning to keep the club open from Sunday night to show the England v Mexico match in full. (The match starts at 01.00 Monday morning)
Since we will need to have our hard-working staff manning the bar, we need to ensure t that we manage the numbers of members who wish to attend.
If you want to come and watch the match, you will need to pay a deposit of £10 in advance. This deposit will be fully redeemable against any drinks during the match, and needs to be paid in advance at the bar by Sunday Morning, 5th, at 9:00am
Also, we need a minimum of 15 people to have paid the deposit by 09.00 on Sunday morning, otherwise we will regretfully have to take the decision not to show the match.
Bacon and sausage sandwiches will be available during the match.
We really hope that plenty of people will turn up to cheer on our team. Come on England, bring it home.

Our Bar and Events team have asked that we remind you of the above and request that you call in at the bar Today (earlier than originally required) and pay to reserve your place for the 1:00am fixture.
